  • Yes, verification of student status is a requirement to live at East Village. We are also conveniently located near University North Carolina at Charlotte.

  • You can submit an acceptance letter, class schedule, student ID, or send us an email from your .edu email address.

  • There are several ways to qualify;  Self qualify by providing proof of income showing that you make 3 times the monthly rent and meeting credit requirements.  Providing a Guarantor that will also meet the standard income and credit requirements. Sign up for our Guarantor Waiver Program or provide 2 months deposit.

  • We're located less than 1 mile from campus and offer a shuttle service.

  • The Niner Choice Program is a safety education initiative designed to help students and their families make informed decisions about off-campus living options. The program is a partnership between Housing and Residence Life, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department, and UNC Charlotte Police and Public Safety. The program was created in 2013 and was relaunched in 2019 and have continued to add new partners to the program each year. Complexes joining the program must meet and adhere to specific safety standards and record-keeping, and not meet or exceed established crime thresholds.

  • We’re excited to bring new updates to the property to include, new individual study pods and study areas on each floor, new flooring/paint in the interior hallways, new dog park, new court yard and pool furniture, new increased security with a guard shed, increased lighting in the parking garage, increased security cameras and new exterior amenities.

  • A fully furnished unit, 55 in. smart TV in the living room and bedroom, internet and water/sewer. Electricity, valet trash and parking are charged separately.

  • Our apartments come fully furnished! Common area includes a 55in smart TV, sofa, side chair, coffee table, side table, tv stand and bar stools.  Each bedroom includes a 55in smart TV, Queen size frame and mattress, desk, desk chair and stackable dressers.

  • No. While we love to see your own personal style added to your area, all furniture provided in the unit, must remain in the unit during the duration of the lease contract.

  • An individual lease means you joint lease the common area of a unit with roommate, have your own individual bedroom but you're only financially responsible for your portion of the rent, not your roommates'.

  • Pricing is by the bedroom, not the whole apartment. Each resident has their own lease and pays for their private bedroom and shared access to common areas.

  • We are pet-friendly, but there are restrictions on size, breed, and number. Additional pet fees or deposits may apply.

  • Our community is designed specifically for student living and does not accommodate residents with children. All residents must meet eligibility requirements for student housing.

  • Yes, we offer on-site maintenance. You can submit a maintenance request online through the resident portal, by phone, or in person at the leasing office.
